The Fallen Angel revisits Daniel Silva’s character Allon, a master Israeli spy, finds himself quietly investigating a potential murder/suicide of a curator in the Vatican’s antiquities division, Dr. Claudia Andreatti. Being pulled out of retirement Allon finds himself taking on more action than he’d like to at his age, but still manages quite expertly with the help of his team. The book is a fast-paced suspenseful book with plenty of action that gives a glimpse into the inner workings of the Vatican and its serious issues with stolen antiquities. This latest by Silva is another great addition to his work regarding Allon and old fans and new will enjoy this read.
