Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days)
A book that many have noticed and adored but perhaps you’ve missed is Angelfall. Another one sitting page turner, this book follows the story of the heroine, Penryn, a tough yet vulnerable girl as she tries to save her crippled younger sister, who has been abducted by angels. Not a light read and definitely not one for the younger sort this story does involve some action and horror scenes throughout but it has such an incredibly layered story you will get pulled into each level and be begging for the next book. Even for those who are perhaps sick of the popular theme of vampires, werewolves, witches and faeries this book goes well above and beyond and is a must read.
